ESOL Entry 3
Improve your Entry Level 3 English with ESOL reading, writing, speaking and listening practice, activities and learning resources.
Build confidence with ESOL Entry 3
ESOL Entry 3 supports adult learners who can already communicate in familiar situations and want to use English with greater accuracy and confidence. The course brings listening, reading, writing and speaking together so learners can practise the language needed for work, study and everyday life.
How to study ESOL Entry 3 effectively
Use the four skill areas in any order, or follow them as a complete learning pathway. Each section includes practical activities, clear examples and exam-focused resources. Start with the skill you find most difficult, complete the practice carefully, and return to it later to check your progress.
Listening activities develop understanding of conversations, announcements and workplace information. Reading resources build vocabulary and help learners identify purpose, main ideas and important details. Writing lessons provide models and structured practice for common tasks, while speaking activities support discussions, role plays and confident communication.
For steady progress, study little and often. Note useful vocabulary, review corrections and practise speaking aloud with a partner when possible. Learners preparing for assessment can also explore the official ESB Entry 3 resources for additional exam information and practice materials.
These free ESOL Entry 3 resources are designed to make independent study straightforward while also supporting classroom learning. Choose a skill below, work at your own pace and revisit activities whenever you need more practice.
